Questions about my weight loss journey

I am just wondering if there is someone that could help me figure out what I should be doing at the gym. And maybe be able to answer questions about diet. I have some friends that are coaches for various programs but in the end most just try selling you stuff. I would prefer not to take supplements or spend money on videos. If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    hmmm there are a lot of things you can do at the gym. Personally i do 2 days a week strenght training with my personal trainer and another 3 days of cardio. Depending on what kind of gym you go to but most of them offer classes that are included in monthly membership. Personal trainers can be very expensive but you can achive just as good results if you go and attend the strenght training classes like "Body Works" from LA Fitness. As it goes for cardio, anything is good. Walking, hiking, eliptical trainer, bycicling...
