31, Lazy, Hungry, Thirsty

Hey guys!

Just joined this fitness thing yesterday! I'm 31 and have decided that years of abuse to my body needs some payback! Usual story really.. i'm not overweight by much but the beer belly is starting to show!

Someone at work has suggested the 5:2 diet.... basically starve yourself for 2 days (500cal) and eat what you like the other days! My first day was a fail when I noticed just how many calories are in a McVities Digestive biscuit (WTF!!!)

I know it's gonna be a long road ahead in getting 'fit' but im gonna give it a go!

Has ne1 had experience with the 5:2 diet?
