I travel alot for work and have trouble eating the proper protions or figuring out what is the healthier dinner choice while traveling. Any sugguests on how to eat health without having other people at the table notice? Or wait staff wondering if there was something wrong because it looks like I barely touched my food.

I think you should just avoid the same things we do at home. Cream sauces, fried foods, fatty meats, etc. Opt for grilled chicken, salad with light dressings or none at all. Still have dessert, but split it with someone. Also if you know where you are going to eat ahead of time check out the restauran'ts website for the best option.

When they bring out your meal, have them bring a to-go box at the same time and box up half of it.

If I know what restaurant I want to stop at (and sometimes I do research so I can KNOW where I'll eat) I try to find their menu online so I can pick out the healthiest meal ahead of time. I can even plan the whole day on MFP just to make sure everything stays on track. It helps me stay on track and not stress out about staying on track!

I do the same thing as SLM33. Do some research and even print out the menus and highlight what you can enjoy. The heck with what other people think.....................you do what is right for you, not them. You have to live with your choices...........good luck to you!
