Bloating

I would like to ask you some of the things that can cause bloating. In the morning, I usually fit into size 8 pants, but have to roll up the rim. Then during the day, I have to unroll the rim and by 8 pm It feels tight.
What are your thoughts?

Generally, everyone gets food babies. You eat and drink and the food kind of chills out inside you until it's absorbed and released. There's not a whole lot you can do besides not eating haha.
Bloating can be caused by a lot of different things, namely the big culprits are fibrous things like fruits and veggies, dairy, and carbs. Not saying you should subside only on fats and proteins, but maybe try to identify which foods cause bloating for you. Also, if you're eating a lot of artificial sugars, or drinking alcohol, those cause bloating too.
You can try probiotics like Culturelle or Pearls, or just foods with natural bacteria like Greek yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut etc.0 -
It could be too much fiber, you're drinking more water, you could be celiac, you could be lactose intolerant, you may need gall bladder surgery. There are SO MANY reasons people bloat and feel bigger at the end of the day. Just take a look at what you're eating and elimate one thing for a week - see if it helps? I bloat really badly when I have more than 10 g of fiber in a day and I'm lactose intolerant, so that pretty much kills it for me, too.0

Sodium followed by it's friend water retention could be another issue.0

Things that make me bloat are dairy and too many nuts. And gluten. Perhaps you have a sensitivity to one of more of these? I also take a hydrochloric acid supplement to help to increase stomach acid, and probiotics.0

Thanks all, I appreciate the feed back! I can't do probiotics, for some reason they give me unbearable cramps, but am thinking of trying natural digestive enzymes. I do eat (Greek) yoghurt - I like mine plain with muesli/chia, no sugar added. I am also a big consumer of fruits and veggies and will not give that up - I'll live with the bloating in that case.
I do like my wine, would hate to stop :-(
I know it's not sodium, I do not eat processed stuff and add no salt to what I cook/make.
I like the idea of cutting out a food for a while to see if it makes a difference.
Thanks all!0 -
For me, personally, it was gluten (even the trace gluten contamination in regular oats). Bananas also seem to be a culprit for me for some reason.0
