for me, definately hot yoga. ive never felt stronger and more relaxed after a class. you use your body weight so you dont even need to weight lift. once you do it, its like crack. ive never done a workout better then that.

mine is zumba... a workout where I don't realize I've worked out till I'm drenched in sweat when I'm finished =)
  • When I've eaten well the day prior. Have had my cup of coffee right before entering the gym. When my muscles are tight and anticipating the burn.

When these three come into play, I know I'm in for a perfect workout.

The one that you love to do...that you get the most out of...and the one you can stick to.

There's no such thing as the "perfect" universal workout. For me, it's lifting heavy things and putting them down...all of my other work...cardio, conditioning, etc go to the benefit of my lifting...but that's just me and my fitness if focused around strength gains currently.

Any workout you look forward to, rather than dread, is the perfect workout.

This was the rowing machine for me for years when I was younger, before arthritis wrote "NO!" on that particular knee movement.

Nope, never had one I would call perfect.

I've had really good workouts, but every single one of them neglected something that was important to me.

A good lifting session has no cardio or mobility work.
A good bike ride has no strength training or stretching.
A good yoga session has no cardio or strength work.
