So.....there's this thread about the proper pronunciation of .gif

but lets be honest, that's done to death.....however it spawned a conversation among my friends about Meme...

one of my friends said she would cut a ***** for pronouncing it mimi.

I am instantly scared, terrified and oddly aroused by this...

how DO you pronounce meme...

is it not Mimi? is Mimi not really pronounced me-me

or is Mimi pronounced My-my....and meme is me-me

or is meme pronounced mehme

or mehmeh?

I'm SO confused.
