How the hell do they claim that burger is 9982 calories....
2# beef= 2000
20 slices bacon= 900
1/2# cheese= 1000
plus the bun and maybe a tablespoon of lard...
Im saying 5000 tops and thats being overly generous. Its probably around 4500...
I could fit that into my calories on a day when I bike40-50 miles... I'd have to skip the fries and drink water, but, I'd consider it healthy enough. Add in some fruits and vegetables and I had a good day.
ETA:
2 pounds of beef and a pound of bacon would cost me the $12.95 they're asking. Seems like a steal when they cook it for me.0 -
OP: From your replies you seem to have already made up your mind about this "disgusting" place and its customers. However, let me remind you that it is a business. Much like McDonalds, gun manufacturers, MFP, google, teddy bear creators etc.
This is purely a marketing gimmick. Something similar was done by Burger King. They cut down all the advertising and their menu targeted towards "health menus". They targeted purely towards the more hardcore fast food clients and that strategy put them out of their deficit and they're once again a highly profitable corporation.
I'm sure you will be disgusted by the strategy but times are hard, people need to make a living. Profits generates jobs etc. If some place, which is openly calling itself unhealthy mind you, is making a living with a disgusting (yet legal) business, whats the harm?0 -
I could eat a couple of bites of one of those burgers. When you don't eat a lot of fat, a little is enough.
Personally, I've always been turned off by the idea of overeating as a spectator sport. I wouldn't go there.0 -
