One Day "Fast"

sorry if this has been discussed many times before... i can't seem to find a decent answer searching the forums or via google, but if i didn't eat for a day or most of a day (let's say, didn't eat anything for a 20 hour period), is that going to have any serious harmful effects? i can't seem to find a straight answer on this, as all the articles and info or previous questions asked about it on the web are fasting for weight loss. i'm not doing it to lose weight... it actually happened already completely on accident (work got in the way). mostly asking in case it happens again. thanks in advance!

    It's called intermittent fasting and it's considered healthy.

    Try and follow leangains guide for gaining muscle. Eat after you fast and eat at maintenance since you don't want to cut.
