waiting to hear the results on this one as well.0

You can take it when're you'd like to increase your protein intake. Most people will drink a protein shake after lifting. I'll also have them as meal replacements, adding in fruit, spinach, nuts, etc....depending on the flavor powder.0

I just bought a tub of cookies and cream from Walmart.
I tried to mix it different ways, the only palatable way for me was a shake...it's palatable.
Optimum Nutrion Double Choclate got the highest review on Amazon, so I bought a big *kitten* tub for $54...
It's good...a shake of this stuff tastes almost just like a treat, not mediciny, no nasty artificial sugar aftertaste.
The tub is almost completley full, the calories per scoop are lower than it's compettion, and the grams of protein are higher...this is why it gets the highest marks on Amazon...Good stuff...Just finding a place to store the big *kitten* tub is a challenge.
i bought it to see if my damn muscles will grow bigger. I take a shake after dinner and a shake after my 3-5AM workout.0 -
Muscle Milk is a soy protein based i believe and I try and stay away from soy based products. If you are looking for a protein powder, whey protein is a great alternative to soy.
Regardless I drink them as meal replacements in the morning because I am usually rushing out the door, friends I know use them as post workout snacks to feed those muscles you just worked on. Like others have said you can make a smoothie, sometimes I just mix it in some milk if I am in a big hurry. Also you can search the forums for protein powder recipes I know a lot of people who make pancakes and granola bars with it.0 -
I only get the muscle milk from the gas stations if I dont go right home after lifting. They taste kinda chalky to me, but I drink it for the protein, in a pinch.0

Their protein bars taste amazing.0

The Muscle Milk protein powder has more fat and calories than other types of protein (no big deal if you have calories to spare). I like it when I have some calories to fill.
The taste - widely debated. Some of their flavours I love (hello chocolate mint), but other people I know hate the taste.
It also tends to be a little more expensive.0 -

The last time I tried one my muscles grew huge overnight!
I did not care for the taste much but I love the hulk muscle building benefits. After a week on muscle milk you will be able to push a semi truck uphill.0 -
it grossed me out0

I don't like it - it's expensive and tastes weird.
I did try the Darigold Refuel that was like "It's got protein for your muscles" and I'm like "Wow, this tastes just like chocolate milk" - then I compared it to their regular chocolate milk...and what do you know, that's basically what it was - chocolate milk with a few other minerals added in and a huge markup...0 -
Not a fan. It tastes weird and doesn't mix well for me. Usually after working out or if you have a hard time reaching your macros through regular food.0

I drink it after a workout. I've tried both Muscle Milk and Optimum Nutrition.... I somewhat favor the taste of Optimum Nutrition.0

muscle milk is a great taste type shake but watch the fat content. nothing that tasty comes without fat.
I find MM to be a great one to start using protein but i have moved on from it, try the MM light instead.
it all comes down to your goals. are you trying to add more calories to your diet, more fat, more protein? there are lots of protein powders on the market and i've tried almost all so if you have any questions send me a msg0
