I'm terrible at being the person who just doesn't care a bit.

I either give or feel bad for not doing it.


In a bigger city though for some reason i don't mind ignoring them as much. One guy in Chicago a few weeks ago was sitting on the sidewalk w/his sign and playing on his Iphone.


I did toss a guy a couple bucks in a Sax case of a guy who appeared homeless, and was playing his Sax

Probably not, I'm too cynical and I don't actually believe most of those people are as needy as they would have you believe.

I do appreciate the occasional humorous "please give" sign, such as:

Family kidknapped by Ninjas. Need money for karate lessons.

Brad and Angelie are getting married, need money for gift.

Need bus fare so I can do this in a better neighborhood.
