After a half-a-year break from weight loss, I have been trying to regain losing 2-3 pounds a week again like I did the first time around. I've been playing around with my foods, the types and amount of calories, and trying to get more activity in.
And then, this week happened. I'm pretty sure I've eaten something from outside my house every day this week. I've eaten SO MANY CALORIES.
However, I've lost ALMOST 4 POUNDS THIS WEEK!!!
And I think a huge contributing factor to this might be the protein bars I've eaten this week!!
Hear me out: I'm a creature of habit who will wake up one morning and decide, hmm, I feel like eating chinese food.... Then, i'll eat Chinese food the rest of the day! There's no way I'm getting all the vitamins and nutrients I need that way, especially when I'm commonly void of enough vegetables and fruit.
But now, I've been replacing work break snacks, etc. with protein bars! I pulled one of my favorites out, and it has things like: vitamins A, C, D, E, K, B6, B12, iron, niacin, biotin, phosphorus, the list goes on.
I know the vitamin fad is mostly just a way to sell products, but do you think that these things can actually help you lose weight???
