I have an issue with seasoning salt. I use a lot of it to season veggies when I saute' them. Im worried about the sodium in it. Any ideas on what else I could use for seasoning my cooked veggies? What about chicken? I use it on my chicken too.

Same problem, when i started to watch my sodium intake, finding ways to make dishes taste great was becoming more difficult... But now, i like how the steamed broccoli taste without salt, other veggies like carrots / sweet potatoes are already high in sodium and taste fine steamed as well. But when i stir fry chicken/veggies, i use coconut oil (it actually gives great flavour), and try to used garlic, season with some ground pepper, paprica, other sodium-free spices.0

Mrs Dash No Salt is great!
Also, you'd be surprised what a little black pepper, garlic powder or lemon juice can do.0 -

Toasted sesame seeds are delicious and sodium free. I buy large size bags in the health food store (I can't find the large, economical bags in the regular grocery store, just the small, expensive bottles in the spice area). I pour the seeds in a pan without any oil and toast them by stirring on the stove top. They are delicious toasted and about 30 calories a tablespoon. Use like any table condiment and sprinkle on anything.0

Mrs. Dash or the Pinch perfect from McCormick. Try herbs I love parsley and basil. Oregano is good too. I LOVE absolutely LOVE onion and garlic (I buy the big jars of already minced garlic). I love Chives and dill weed. Some people like thyme and rosemary (I find them too woody). Sometimes with green beans I just throw in garlic, onion, and crushed red pepper, YUM if you like spicy.0

Chia seeds, great to get some Omega 3 and they have a peppery taste to them. When I cook them with my veggies I don't use salt at all.0
