I was wondering if anyone knew what was a better way to get protein. Eggs or a
Powdered protein drink. I had read where an increase in protein can help in
Losing weight.
Looking forward to your response.

I heard from a fitness trainer that unless you are working out you are more likely better off with things like chicken, lentiles, eggs, something that is real food and not packed into a bar0

Are you asking to pick between only eggs and protein drink? Or do you want other options? I say eggs and liquid egg whites, protein shakes, greek yogurt, fish, chicken, cottage cheese. I am trying to increase my protein because I lift weights and do a lot of weight-bearing exercises, and because my doctor recommended that I increase it.0

Why are you looking to increase? I drink a protein shake after my workouts. I'm pretty well set on protein for the day after that because I get my protein from beans, veggies, ect..0

If you aren't building muscle it will get stored as fat, or that is what I have read, I'm not a Dr. but it makes sense.0

One cup of lentils has the protein of 3 eggs (18 in a cup of lentils versus 6 in one egg), plus little fat and zero cholesterol....0 -

False. Extra calories get stored as fat... not protein.
OP, for protein always try to get it from real foods (lean meats, beans, nuts, eggs, dairy, etc) instead of processed powder. Protein powder is a suppliement to be used when you can't reach your protein goals through food alone. Extra protein won't increase your weight loss.0
