Can I Follow the alli meal plan?

To be honest here, I'm a terrible cook. Completely uncreative and unable to create my own healthy menu choices for myself and my family. I find the alli menu plan to be pretty super. It tells me what I need to buy at the store, and how to cook everything. It seems like it would be perfect for someone like myself, who is just....clueless.
Would it be fine to follow the menu created for me there? I'm not taking alli, but the food would still be nutritious. Probably better than the Lean Cuisine I've been having for dinner every night. lol

Absolutely. Diet is 90% of your health. You find what works for you.
It's a low fat diet, I think, from what I've heard (not sure)
Although I don't believe in a "low-fat" diet (I prefer a high good-fat diet, but thats what works for me)
if it works for you, than do it! No shame. Why wouldn't ya be able to?
And do I dare ask if you have checked the sodium levels in your lean cuisine?
I don't know what their nutrients entail, but being a frozen dinner I would assume lots of sodium0 -
I would tend to agree. If what I've heard is correct, it's a pretty healthy diet, slightly lacking in good fats. It's a great starting point for someone who isn't sure, or doesn't know, where to start. After you've done it for awhile, you will be more confident in your abilities and will probably be able to branch out some.
Keep up the good work!:flowerforyou:0 -
yeah the sodium levels are out of control with the lean cuisine.
Thanks for your advice, I'll print out the grocery list and have some fun. lol0
