Natural Peanut Butter tip

Here's a suggestion to combat the oily layer on a new jar of peanut butter. I store mine upside down before opening. I've found I don't have to stir it to combine the oil through the paste.

    That's a good idea. I will keep that in mind.
  • I use PB2. It has no oil. It's a powdered peanut butter that you add water to make it creamy. It's very low fat and only 45 calories per 2 tablespoons. Some stores sell it but here is their web site when you can buy it. www.bellplantation.com

    I never thought to do that, thanks!

    My husband usually dumps the jar into a big bowl and stirs it up and puts it back into the jar. Your way sounds easier :)
