Artificial Water Packets?

Some people just can't choke down water, and I'm fine either way, but... Opinions?
My way of thinking is if it says
"artificial"
"fat-free"
or
anything like that on the label, it's probably just a chemical crap storm.
Opinions? Do you use them? Should I not use them?

I use lemon juice in my water. Most of the flavored packets I've seen are just sugar.0

Occasionally I use crystal light to switch things up, especially in the winter when I don't feel like plain water all the time. I don't see anything wrong with it occasionally. It's still water. It's not like the water magically turns to something else when you add it. Too much artificial sweeteners give me headaches though, so like I said, it's not an everyday thing for me.0

I use them occasionally. I love plain water usually, but once in a blue moon, for whatever reason, i just can't handle the flavor of water, so I use the crystal light. 5 calories a piece. not bad, much better than soda, and you still know exactly how much pure water you're taking in, so you can count it.0

Plain water for me bc I love it and can't stand fake sweeteners But whatever gets people to drink water is good0

I use them sometimes. I usually drink lemon water but like to change it up. The packets say they are for 16 oz of water but I use one in 32-40 oz of water. My doctor said they are ok to use but not all the time.0

Yes I agree! Lemon water is the way to go. it actually is really good for your body and helps to balance the acidity in your body. Love it0

Personally, I use Mio or one of the store-generic versions of the same thing (I know Target and Acme have their own generics which are just as good as the name brand.) Zero calories, zero sugar. I carry a flavor with me whenever I go out.
I avoid crystal light because of the aspartame sugar substitute - which has been known to aggravate migraines. I know when I used crystal light for a long period of time then suddenly switch to something else the headaches would floor me.
It really helps fill that craving for soda or other sweet drinks and you can get your daily water goal in no sweat! :bigsmile:0
