Sugar Cravings with stress

So I've been off all sugar (besides fruit) and mostly off substitutes for a couple months now but I've been craving it horribly because of pressures of work and being sick... does anyone have any advice or help for me? Pretty please...

Increase your protein intake, with lean meats, fish, cottage cheese or protein shakes. I also would focus more on eating veggies say you don't get triggered by the fructose in your fruit. I find too when I exercise more it helps reduce my stress. Hope you are feeling better soon.

I have the occasional sweet tooth cravings too, but I just take a handful of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries or strawberries and add a dollup or two of fat free cool whip, this tends to help me.
    Good luck!!

I'm not sure how you feel about protein shakes, but I just bought a 2 pound tub of the Optimum Whey Extreme Milk Chocolate protein shake powder....mix that with one cup of unsweetened almond milk and WOAH. It tastes like sugary deliciousness, minus all the bad stuff. I had my mom try a shake today, actually, just to see how she would react--she's tried other shakes I've had in the past--and she said it "actually tasted really good". Definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. It tastes like cinnamon and graham crackers and chocolate all crushed up together. Yummy.

Whenever i get a craving for something sweet i eat it, log it and as long as i am under my calorie goal i don't worry about it.

Yup. Massive craving for Skittles last night after surviving a 1.5 hour tantrum by my 4 yr old. Fun times. I ignored it. I don't keep any sweets in the house, nearest store is 30 minutes away...I busied myself with some chores and forgot about the Skittles pretty quickly. :)
