 Hi any ideas for low calorie smoothies? I just got a Vitamix blender and in need of some refreshing recipes I like to use soy milk instead of dairy products I feel their more lighter.

I use light chocolate soy milk with half of a banana and a few ice cubes = delicious!! Kind of tastes like a milkshake :o)

1 cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk or coconut water, 1/2 cup of fruit (raspberries my fave), 2-3 cups of spinach, and 1 cup of ice blend and enjoy :D
  • Best shake I've made yet:

    1/2 cup raw spinach
    1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 tbsp. peanut butter (could use pb2)
    1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 cup brewed coffee
1 scoop non-carb IsoPure vanilla protein powder
    Ice

This makes 1.5-2.0 servings and total calories is 265. I promise you can't taste the spinach!

    1 cup crushed ice
    1/2 cup water
    1 cup sliced strawberries
1/2 cup non fat frozen yogurt or no sugar added ice cream (90 cal)
and sometimes 1 scoop protein powder..(if you want it as a 'meal')

PB2 is powdered peanut butter. Very low fat and you add water to the pb2 to get the sticky paste...pretty decent taste, esp as a topping or to add as a topping...
