i havent eaten a frozen dinner in almost a year, it is so quick to throw together a salad or a stir fry now. i also cook up things in batches and store in containers in the fridg so it is easy to make up a quick meal.

Yes I do...I compensate for increased sodium with extra water and only eat the ones I truly truly love.

I eat leftovers for lunch at work.... still just takes a zap in the microwave and is lots yummier and better for me, I just cook enough for dinner to make myself a plate for lunch the next day. works for me and doesnt take any extra time.

No, I eat almost no frozen meals. Most of my dinners are grilled or roasted protein, a starch made from scratch like roasted red potatoes, mashed potatoes, rice, or couscous, and a veggie that is either steamed, grilled, or roasted. I do use some of the steam-in-the-bag frozen veggies. Or, rather than cooked veggies, I'll make a big garden salad. My lunches wind up being either leftovers or sandwiches. But I like to cook.

I try to cook as much as possible, I keep a few Amy's frozen meals/burritos in the freezer just in case so I can still have something reasonable for the times I really don't feel like making something from scratch. I am trying to eat less processed foods but I still have some for snacks. I want to eventually make my own snacks, but I'm not there yet.

I try to cook from scratch as much as possible, but always keep some of Trader Joe's frozen dinners in the freezer for nights when I just don't feel like cooking.

I try only to eat processed foods if t's something bad...like poptarts or a cupcake.(yeah I had a cupcake for lunch a few days ago!)

If i am going to be bad and eat processed foods, I am gonna be evil!

Other than my evil processed foods...I typically cook all my meals.

But again, If i consume processed foods, it's gonna be the BAAAAD stuff.

ANyone ever had a homemade vegan gluten free cupcake?

I did yesterday. A friend made them for me..

I did not have the heart to tell her it tasted disgusting. The uber bad processed ones just taste so goooood!

Seriously though...about 10 years ago when I was trying to lose a few lbs I ate alot of lean cuisine.I lost weight but was constantly bloated.Tons of sodium in those guys. SO I was skinny with a bloated belly. Not a good look!

I never eat pre-packaged dinner and I got rid of microwave. The only processd food I eat at this point is the low cal yogurt and low cal salad dressings.

Never. Don't even need to use my microwave.

My diary is a homage to processed foods.
Yesterday, there is some reeses pieces, tater tots, onion rings, whey...
today there will definitely be some pepsi, reeses and more tater tots.
Note: they are miniature tater tots, so they are miniaturally processed

By true definition, I think everybody eats processed foods. It's unavoidable unless you're a farmer or something, but I've avoided microwaveable food and pre-packaged meals for several years now. Unless you count stuff like pizza?

I microwave everything. Microwaved tater tots taste waaaaaaaaaaay better and crispier than baked. Try it!
It also consumes less power, so you know, it's environmental.

The only thing I don't microwave is plastic. Otherwise the MW is my best friend. As science buff, I know that the microwave isn't "evil" and it isn't giving me cancer.

I don't eat pre packaged meals but use odd items for convenience in cooking. I try my hardest to eat as clean as possible and avoid processed but it's hard as most things are processed in some way or another. :-\

I dont eat too many frozen dinners but honestly when working 12hr shifts its easier to throw a lean cuisine into my luch box then pack a full lunch esp on the 3rd or 4th day (I also drive and hour one way so its really like a 14+ hour day gone) Everything in moderation though

I try to eat clean, but it's more of the 80/20 rule. I usually had a little bit of Edy's ice cream as a midnight snack or some frozen yogurt. I don't make packaged meals or anything like that. I do eat vita top muffins for a high fiber snack or will eat some dark chocolate. Not sure if you consider that processed. I am guilty of cereal sometimes though! :)

I eat some processed food, though much less than I used to. You don't have to be a 100%, all-or-nothing food nazi to live healthier than you started.

I wouldn't suggest microwaving tin foil either...

Four days a week I eat dinner at work so sometimes it's just unavoidable. That said, I do try to bring better options most of the time. I don't cook much so most of my meals are leftovers from my mom's house. If there aren't any and I don't have anything myself, well, it's either something microwaveable or nothing.
