What size pants/ weight are you?
I would just like to gauge how abnormally hippy I am compared to girls of my own height.
I'm 5'9, 150 lbs and a size 10-12 pants.

5'9, 150, Size 4.
Before when I was 150(like 4 years ago) I was wearing between a 10-12 depending on the style of pants.0 -
A little taller, 6ft tall, 150, size 6.0
-
5'8", 163, size 10. Never been less than a 6 in my life! Hips, baby, hips.0

A bit taller than 5'10 and weigh 170 right now and wear size 8/10. When I am 150, like I usually am, I wear 6 or 8.0

Wow, I was expecting bigger. I'm 5'10...and 210 lbs.. I wear size 16/18 (down from the 20/22 I was wearing 20 lbs ago)... I have very large hips. Haven't been down below a size 12 since I was 13 years old. Not even sure it's possible...:embarassed:0

I am 5'6" and 155 and I wear an 8/10. I used to be a six for a long time. I' m not used to my we size and want to go back down.0

I'm 5'8''. When I was around 160 pounds, I wore a size 10 or 12 depending on the pants, and now at 140 I typically wear a size 8.0

5'10"...205...140

I'm just under 5'10 and 153. I am in a 10 or 12 depending on the brand. When I was 180 (highest weight) I was in a 12 or 14 - so not a huge decrease in sizes for losing 27 pounds..but I will take it!! Oh and yeah, 41 inch hips will do that!0

At 5'10 and 220 I was size 16 as well.0

I'm gigantically hippy. I'm 5'10, 184, and I wear a 16. I can squeeze into a 14, but it's not comfortable. It sucks.0

5'8 162 size 80

I'm almost 5'9", at 151 and in a 6/7. I'm actually able to wear non-stretch jeans now.0

Yikes! you guys are tiny. I just started my diet. I'm 5' 8" and a size 16-18 (always in the middle.) I've been down to a size 14 once when I was about 200 lbs0

I'm 5'9 and can wear an 11 in juniors. So I guess a 12? in women's. I weigh 160 currently. When I was at my goal weight before (140), I wore a 9 in juniors.0

I am 5'9 (and a half) and RIGHT NOW weigh 270. and wear pants size 20. (My hips are 54 inches) YIKES!! LOL

I'm 5'9" and weigh about 148 and am wearing a size 6. When I was in the low 160s I wore a 10.0

5"8 (and a half)
250 lbs - size 16 (just barely recently! but still definitely fit)
I am around 40" bust, 39" waist, 51" hips at this time.
sigh... I will get there.0 -
Unfortunately women's clothing sizes mean nothing. They are not standard in any way what so ever. I'm 5'8 at 135lb and I can be a size 8 or a size 2 in pants...depending on where I bought them.
And then don't even get started on the vanity sizes. In a majority of the women's clothing something that is a certain size this year was actually a few sizes bigger about 10 years ago...they just have been lowering the numbers so that women feel good about the size they are buying and are more likely to make the purchase. Women are getting bigger but the sizes are going down.
Men's clothing is much more standardized because for a lot of things they actually use measurements like neck size for shirts and waist and inseam for pants...0 -
5'10", 266 lbs, size 18, sometimes 20 depending on the type of fabric.0

It depends on where your weight is! Because I am currently 244 and can fit size 16/18 pants... My sister is 210 and wears a 18/20!! I can't wait to get to my weight goal 170.. I will probably be a 13/14 then0

I am 5'9" and around 138 pounds. I usually grab a size six first and then go up or down from there depending on where I am shopping.0 -

Unfortunately, I've found this to be true! I'm 5'9", ~150 lbs, and can wear a 6 or 8 depending on where I buy pants. At LOFT, I'm a 6. Old Navy is 8, depending on if they stretch. Macy's/Charter Club - 8 or 10.0 -
5'10.5 and 114. I'm a 0-000

Size 8 (canadian sizing)0

Its always possible! Just takes a lot of discipline to get there! You can do it!0

I'm nearly 5'10" and currently weight 155. Size 10's are super tight on me but most of my 12's are getting too big. I hate being in between sizes!
I have never been smaller than a 9/10 as an adult and never smaller than an 8 since I was in elementary school, maybe?
I can't even imagine comfortably squeezing into anything smaller than a 10.
P.S. I've had two kids.0 -
Let's not forget there are women's sizes and misses sizes. I am 5'7" and weigh 222 and can wear 16 misses pants. However, like someone else said, it depends on where you go to buy clothing. All size 16's are not created equal and the same goes for all women's clothing unfortunately.0
