How often do you weigh yourself?

I weigh myself daily because if I don't, I tend to get off track. How about you?

I weigh myself once a week. I've heard that some people do it twice but I rather do it once so i dont have to focus on looking at the scale. I can focus on maintaining my diet and exercise and then make necessary changes from there.0
-
Normally once a week, but this week twice as I restarted my diet mid-week and my normal weigh-in day is Sunday.0
-
Once a week and I try to avoid the week before my periond, because I am trying not to get obsessd by what the scale says.0
-
Once a week, sometimes longer. I measure myself every other week.0
-
Everyday. I want to ensure that I'm heading in the right direction.0

every day but I only log my weight every 2 weeks.0

I've been weighing myself daily but it's kinda putting me off as I want to see changes every day and as I'm doing some intense workouts the scales don't always go down. So I think I might go back to once a week... can't resist those scales though!0

Once a week....otherwise I can become a nutcase.0

everyday so i dont go off track like yourself but I techincally weigh in on MFP once a week on a sunday. I think to many people on MFP log how much they lose every 2 days on MFP and i think that is too OTT.0

I used to weigh daily or once every other day. I reached a point where I was getting mad because my weight would fluctuate so much, which is normal, that I quit weighing so often. Now I only weigh like once every few weeks. I have reached the point to where I am just about where I want to be, and now I just weigh out of curiosity.0

Daily, I log when I lose weight but if I fluctuate I don't log the gain, I just wait until I lose again.0
-
Everyday, Otherwise I get paranoid I've put on. Only log once a week though and I don't worry if the scale goes up inbetween0
-
Daily. Because it keeps me on track. I avg over a week and don't count it as loss or gain unless I'm above my highest/ or lower than my lowest for the past week.0
-
Once a week on Wed Morning. Every once in awhile, I do in between as well.0
-
twice a week, I log once a week and check during the week to see progress0

Every. Single. Day. My husband is talking about hiding the scale.0

If you see yourself obsessing over the scale, you probably should stop using it for a while. I heard that measurements are more accurate anyway.0 -
I used to weight myself several times per day, but I would frequently get discourage at the sight of normal fluctuations; to that end, I now only weight myself once per day. Ideally, I would only weight myself once per week, but I don't have enough self-control to do that...0

I have been doing it every day but I find it's too discouraging. I am now moving to the once a week system.0
-
Mostly everyday at the same time...it's a quick reminder to stay on track!0

one or twice a month of that. I let my clothes and the mirror be my guide.0

Everyday. But I only log my weight once a week, and if it's a brand new number I only log what seems permanent. For instance, today (my weight in day) I weighed 220 even. But it was the first time that number came up, so I logged at 222. If I get ahead of myself and a pound or two is back the next day I feel like I lied.
I should probably hide/break my scale.0 -
2-3x a day0

I weigh myself every morning naked right after I go to the bathroom and do that each day. You do it first thing in the morning before you eat or drink anything after fasting overnight. This gives you your most accurate reading. I log it almost every day or two.0

I've weighed myself daily for the past 7 months, but I don't log it here daily. I am okay with watching my weight fluctuate up and down with water weight and hormones and I'm looking at the trend.0
-
I'm planning on weighing myself every day -- because I'm interested in seeing how my weight fluctuates in relation to my hormones. The last time I tried to lose weight, I actually dropped a kilo the week before and the week during my period. It was odd, because I was expecting nearly the opposite.0

I was weighing daily to keep accountable but I started to obsess about the scale. It's natural for weight to fluctuate a bit and any slight gain was sending me into a tailspin. And I found myself expecting unrealistic goals. I wanted to see some loss every time I weighed. But even 1 lb a day is not realistic. And also I felt discouraged after a hard workout if I didn't see the results the next day when I weighed. But I dont want to weigh only once a week because if I do begin to gain I want to get a handle on it quickly. I like the accountability of frequent weigh-ins. So I think I found the perfect happy medium by weighing twice a week. I like Sundays and Thursdays and I always weigh 1st thing in the morning after I go to the bathroom.0

I wait until I'm clearly dehydrated and wearing a 12 oz nightgown and bare feet. Right after the stomach flu seems to be when I have the most success. All other times end with me ranting about what a lying sack of iron the scale is and plotting to throw it in the river at high tide.0

I weigh myself every single morning. I feel that it helps me identify certain things, like where I need my sodium goals to -actually- be. Or how my sleep patterns can affect my weight. Its like a little science experiment. And I'm a little obsessive.0
-
I do it just about everyday, but not in a neurotic way. I am pretty comfortable that there will be variation from day to day but my long-term trend-line is moving in the right direction. Also, I want to see if I have odd reactions to certain foods or activities, so I think the discipline of keeping track helps.0
