When to weigh?

I've heard a lot of information from people telling me different times that I should weigh myself. Personally I weigh myself every morning (after some necessities) and it works for me because it lets me constantly keep track on how my weight loss is going.

What does everyone else think on this? Does anyone weigh themselves everyday? Or maybe once a week (I used to do this but I found it was very easy to slip and gain weight, and I was always bursting to weigh myself haha)? Or maybe a different time scale?

    I weigh the same time as you, first thing in the morning after ablutions lol!

    once every two weeks - friday mornings!

    I do what you do. I weigh after I empty my baldder and no clothes. Seems to work okay I guess. I think you are supposed to do it the same way everyfime. I'm going to try to cut back to once or twice a week to see if I can tell the difference more. Great post.

    i don't know why anyone would weigh in other than mornings?!?

    after eating would make no sense, unless you're just curious.

    I weigh in the mornings, and officially once a week.

    Now, if my weight loss has been stagnant, or if I have been holding water, I will weigh every morning for a few days. If it's going well, I will instead way in the evenings once in a while out of curiosity. I weigh in the evenings because that means my "true" weigh-in is still a surprise. It;'s kind of like tricking myself about what the numbers on the scale will be.

    Lol it's silly, but it works for me.

    That's what I do.

    Its probably one of the most consistent times to get a body weight for yourself since you are coming out of an 8 hour fast/release of fluids and waste.
