Its great reading so many positive stories. I am hoping small goals will keep me going I am tipping the scales at 301lbs as of yesterday.

Short Term Target - drop below 20 stone (280lbs) this was the wall I was bouncing off for many years going up the way but have sailed through it recently so if I can get below that I am on my way.....hopefully.

Long Term Target - 12 stone (168lbs) hopefully get there one day anything south of 200lbs and I will be delighted.

Started at 390 and thats a guess. I couldn't get a reading on my scale after I hit 385 it errored out.
Anyway this has to be a lifestyle change..little by little make small manageable changes to your life. Don't think of things as cheat, but keep things in moderation, smaller portions more color, and do more activity..that doesn't mean join a gym..it means walk around the block, park further away and then every day build on that. Its so possible! Go for it!

I am just getting started on my weight loss journey, and also starting above the 300lb mark. It's so encouraging to see so many others who are doing it and having success that it's spurred me on to join in.

I started at 320.4 on April 30th 2012 - and I just weighed in at 289.4. My heaviest was 341 in April of 2011. I have been keeping track of my calories and going to the gym/doing Zumba. I have lost 30lbs in 3 months as of today. I'm hoping to get down to at least 250 for my first goal, and then go from there. :)
