I just worked out for 30 minutes on the gazelle and was wondering if anyone can tell me where I would go to find out how many calories I have burned? Thanks and Happy New Year!!!

You need a heart rate monitor in order to get an accurate total but for now, you can log it in as "cardio" of some sort. Probably under an elliptical or treadmill setting.

I wore my HRM while working out of my Gazelle (which I almost never do because my feet cramp when I do it!) and it was equivalent the the elliptical entry on MFP. Then again, if your intensity was more/less than mine, it would be different for you. So, really the only way to be more accurate would be to get a HRM.

If you want to be conservative with your calorie estimate, you should probably log it as bicycling, stationary & then whatever effort you put forth (light, moderate, vigorous, etc).
  • Here's a great website that can calculate it for you...it has the Gazelle listed on there.

On this website, the #s for elliptical and the Gazelle are exactly the same.
