i started drinking a green smoothie for breakfast is this a good source for veggie and fruit take in? I have a hard time getting them in for lunch and dinner so I'm trying this.

An AWESOME way to get greens if you aren't a regular eater of them! Just make sure to wash them well, and mix them up. Don't use the same greens every time! Use mustard greens, spinach, kale, black kale, purple kale, broc, collard greens, etc! And remember, it's 1/4 fruit to the rest being greens! Add a little water and you are good to go! I drink about 60-120 oz a day depending on my teaching schedule. For example, I will be doing 120 ounces today since I worked out this morning and then have a pilates and yoga class to teach this evening!

I do smoothies for breakfast and have been adding kale lately. Sometimes I do them for dinner too if get home late. They satisfy my sweet tooth and help keep my calories under control!0
