I am earbud challenged

Is there anyone else out there who simply cannot wear earbuds? I've tried 3 or 4 different brands, and none of them stay in my ears. I don't even have to be moving and they simply fall right out.

I want to get different headphones today, and was just wondering what other people use. I don't want huge ones, but I hate baby ones. Looking for suggestions!

(I only really wear headphones while jogging, btw)

Me! I can just about keep them in if I don't move at all. Those ones with the extra squidgy bit that goes right inside your ear will just not even go in!

How about something like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-MDR-J10L-Over-Style-Headphones/dp/B00007EDM8

I tried the diddy beats today, and they have the squishy bit too! The left one fell out no matter how hard I jammed it in my ear, but the right one stayed the entire time. SO STRANGE!

I had the same problem! I finally went to a pair of JVC Sports-Clip Earbud Headphones. They wrap behind your ear, took a few days to get used to them, but now I would be lost without them.

That's too funny. There's a few good brands out there that come with multiple bud sizes; try each one until the fit is right. And one ear canal could be a little bigger/smaller than the other so don't feel weird mixing the sizes. My issue is snagging the earbud wire and ripping the darn bud but of my ear-very annoying. However, the 'squishy' type is extremely comfortable for long periods of wear, and creates a nice seal to keep the outside noise to a minimum.

Use in-ear earbuds. They won't fall off

I like earbuds but boyfriend hates them and got the kind that wrap around your ear for running. I find them clunky, but they may be helpful for what you are looking for.

    sweatproof
stay in ears all the time with no problems (comes with like 5 different types of ear tips)
memory wire to hold them in place
    SOUND GREAT!

Don't buy them off of their website. Search around the internet for the best price

I went through about 3 pairs of earbuds trying to find one that would stay in my ears while running and sound great. These do both!

I got mine at best buy for $17 6 months ago

This is how well they stay in ear http://youtu.be/NtbzCQ45_SE

I LOVE these headphones. I can't handle earbuds...they're either too big for my tiny ears or they just fall out. Other over-the-ear with the swinging clip never stay put because my ears are too close to my head and are small.

I'm on my 2nd pair of the Sony over-the-ear headphones. I had to stop using them after getting the daith of my ear pierced til it was done healing but other than that, these are my absolute favorite earphones.

I had this problem for hte longest time... only thing I've found to work for me is yurbuds Not sure what it is about them, but they are secure and comfortable. Worth trying, IMO, even if you've had problems with other earbuds.

Other than that, I always fall back on the old over-the-head style buds... something like this:

Never ever had any problems with them.

Get the bose in ear buds (about $75 at BJ's, Costco etc you could get on QVC also). They have 3 different sizes and I swear by them. I forget mine every time I go to the airport, so I've purchased a few and the apple ones that come with iPhone etc...SUCK!!!!

I tried these for a while but found I only like wearing them while working out indoors. I can't use them for listening to music at my desk or working out outside because (for me at least) they block out most other noise so I can't hear a coworker getting my attention or a car coming up on me. I biked for a long time so I'm used to hearing cars way before I see them. Definitely a good choice with the different tips...I got mine on Amazon.

I have the same problem. My ears are too small so they dont stay in. I found a $10 pair at walmart, that has different attachments with them and I found the smallest attachments work the best.

Edit: had to find the name. They are iFrogs Ear Pollution Plugz I really like them.

I'm the same. Lots of earbuds now come with a smaller size of the cushions. I like SkullCandy the best.

They sell one's like these that are not buds, but just ear phones and wrap around the back of your neck and over your ear. I think I got mine at Target a few years ago for $12. They do take some getting used too, especially when you first put them on, but they will stay in place since they're hooked to your ears.

I use the squishy earbuds and love them but I was really sweaty yesterday and I could hear/feel it in my ears. Yuck. Plus buds a REALLY bad for your hearing. I'll probably switch back to my headset......

I prefer to just pay a kid to ride his bike along side, with a giant old 80's boombox blaring.

I have tiny ear holes as well. I use LG Blue tooth headphones - they have a part that goes around the back of your neck and then wires up to the earbuds - love them. And I believe they come with different size buds - I always have to use the smallest ones.

I have this problem! I tried for years to find buds that stay in my ear. I finally found some though, they even stay in while running. My problem was my ears too big. I can't wear the iPod headphones or just any generic ear bud (sadly).

The sound is really clear too. Also, everyone else can't hear your music blasting. You could find them on ebay or amazon cheaper than the Sony site. I got mine on Ebay.

    raises hand.

They not only fall out, but they hurt. Doesn't matter how small they are, they make my ears sore. I have a great Bose headset but I cant wear that outside. Someone needs to invent something different than earbuds.

I totally feel your pain. I have some skull candy red buds that I have to wear on the smallest plug and they still pop out. I tied to run with them when I bought them, no go. I'm probably going to pick up a pair of these new balance behind the neck pair just for jogging specifically. D:

I love my Skull Candy buds and I use the medium-sized ones so they'd fit snugly in my ears and not pop out.

I agree with that 100%. I would not use these for running outdoors as they block out most if not all outside noise. I use them for inside the gym.
