Empire Strikes Back. It was metal, not the plastic or cloth type they sell today. And it came with a thermos!

    Me and you both!
    A brown paper bag.
I liked being able to blow it up after words and pop it though!
It was worth sitting at the silent table every time!

Dukes of Hazzard. At some point that got retired to the garage to be a "generic nuts, bolts and hardware container." Through the rest of elementary school and high school it was a plain brown paper bag.

Now I use a neoprene Clemson lunch box. If I have a lot of stuff to bring (depending on what my snacks are, etc.) I use a soft-sided cooler that's really meant to hold a sixer of long necks  (but it works just as well for lunch )

No way!!! There was one with the pink and yellow girl ones on it when I was in second grade! I begged my parents for it, they were cheap arses though. I even made a chart showing how it would be more cost efficient in the long run to go ahead and buy the lunch box. ( Yeah, I grew up to work in govermental payroll and accounting, go figure) My dad's words were, "You will break it before I break even." :grumble:

I had an awesome Jay and Silent Bob metal lunchbox, but I think I forgot it in my car when I sold it. I remember having a Dukes of Hazzard one when I was in grade school.
