First day of Paleo can you check my Diary?

Today was my first day going paleo can you all check my diary and tell me what you think of it?

Before I was eating a lot of processed junk, very few veggies and fruits. Getting 3k-4500 g's of salt. Today I didn't even have 1k!

Anyway thanks for any thoughts and opinions. I know you shouldn't have gum on the paleo diet but I couldn't help myself. That was really my only slip up today.

    Well I am just now reading about the Paleo diet, so I'm no expert or anything, but it looks pretty good to me!

    Just finished my first week of Paleo your dairy is looking good so far to me :)

    I'm reading as much as I can about it at the mo and for a peep with far too much health stuff to list here I'm feeling great after just 1 week

    Nearly forgot if you have a smartphone there is a great app that tells you if a food is paleo or not called Only Paleo as a newbie I'm am finding it a great help

    Looks awesome. I am doing a 85/15 paleo diet now. And i love it. So far i am down 3 lbs in 3 weeks. And i dont track calories.

    Ohhh also someone friended me and said that everything was good but the carbs. From what I understand paleo is not a low carb diet (it just happens to go that way). All my carbs were from fruits anyway so that should be fine right?

    I would cut back on your fruit intake. Fruit is limited with Paleo. It has a lot of sugar which increases your insulin level and enables fat storage.

    Ok, Cheese isn't Paleo or butter unless it's grass fed and used in small portions (although some cheese is allowed in Primal it's unpasturised and full fat), and fruit is a very very small part of the pyramid as it's packed with sugar.

    i just looked...

    my advice? no bread- its not paleo.
    kraft singles cheese: replace it with real cheese
    no sugar free candies...
    drop the spread- get kerrygold butter, or better yet coconut oil.
    try to eat more "natural" meats- i buy a big thing of chicken breasts and portion them out and pop em in the freezer.
    i would also try to cut out the ketchup- opt for spices and stuff that add more flavor and aren't made up of a long ingredients list

    thats just my two cents :)
