For snacks? Fruit is sweet and has sugar but they are the good kind of sugars so they can help a sweet tooth. My go to snacks are always yogurt, cottage cheese, unsalted nuts (almonds for me), special k cracker chips if you need that munch, or low fat butter flavoured microwave popcorn.0

low sugar? Well, I dont eat prepackaged or processed foods - only real fresh foods. Im not really sure what your focus would be on or if you are trying to find alternatives... ???
I dont even crave sweet things anymore nor desire them to be honest...0 -

It is definitely possible but it does require alot of dedication... I tend to be more of a savory addict to be honest! LOL!
What helped for my situation (medical-related) was doing a complete elimination of certain foods because of how horrible it was impacting my health. It took away the cravings for me, and even corrected my cholesterol in an extremely quick time-frame. That impressed several medical collegues that I work with not just as a fellow employee but also as a patient too.0 -

Part of the problem with low-sugar anything, is that the product in-question will have some sort of replacement ingredient(s)... albeit artificial sweetners, chemicals, preservatives, etc...
Its the same thing that goes for low-fat products, low salt, low-this/low-that... if they took something out, they have to put something less-than desirable in its place...
its not a true win-win situation at times...0 -
I buy natural yogurt or fromage frais (fromage frais is a milder taste), which has no sugar in it, and I add fruit, like banana and blueberries. I also add cacao nibs, which are raw cocoa, and are not sweet, but when eaten with sweet things like bananas, they taste just like chocolate, but are not fattening. Sometimes I just eat banana with cacao nibs - it's a lovely sweet healthy snack.0
