    Great to see some new faces today! :)

    I walked 2.25 miles today, so

    8/1 - 3.75 mi
    8/2- 2.75 mi
    8/3- 3.5 mi
    8/4- 2.25 mi

    Total- 12.25 Miles.
    Left to go- 37.75 Miles

    Keep up the great work everyone! :)

    did the jog for 2.6 miles so total so far is 8.3

    today i did 1 mile cross trainer (does that count??) and 2.7 mile walk
    total so far - 12 miles (if cros trainer counts!!) 38 to go!

    Count me in, I walked 17 miles yesterday in 295 mins. I will be walking more today but nowhere near that amount

    Cross trainer counts if you want it to! This challenge is about pushing yourself to reach your own personal goals! :) Nice work out today! :)

    just found thread and like to join.

    I'll go for 2 miles a day, as I'm not sure how far I go in miles (usually calculate time and calories - HRM)
    Will try to download pedometer android app later

    Welcome!! :) I use an app on my phone that has a pedometer, so you know your steps, and it also tells you distance, speed, maps your walk/run, etc. Hopefully you can find something similar for android. Good Luck! :)

    I'm in for 50 miles this month. It will be walking and bike riding because I can't run due to physical ailment. :smile:

    Depending on where you are from....but i use Map My Run, its great!

    Hi Everyone!

    It was mentioned to me that it would be a good idea to start a group on MFP for this Challenge. I think it's a good idea, but I don't know much about the MFP Groups. What do you guys think? I'm going to try to set one up, see what it's all about :)

    I also got my walk in for the day!

    8/1 - 3.75 mi
    8/2- 2.75 mi
    8/3- 3.5 mi
    8/4- 2.25 mi
    8/5- 3.25 mi

    Total- 15.50 Miles.
    Left to go- 34.5 Miles

    Hi All! I got my walk in for today as well! I did my 1 mile Walk Away the Pounds with 2 lb hand weights this morning so I have 7 miles in total and 23 more to meet my goal of 30 miles for August. I think it is a great idea for us to have our own group to post and keep track of our progress and challenges as well as to encourage and motivate one another!!!!! Please let me know if you create the group and I will definitely join it! :happy:

    I just found this thread and would love to join. I've been walking/jogging for a couple of months and signed up for my first 5K for the end of September. I'm goIng to shoot for 50 miles.

    8/1: 2.0
    8/2: 2.5
    8/3: 6.0
    8/4: 2.75
    8/5: 2.25

    Total so far: 15:5
    Left: 34.5

    Here are my stats for the challenge:
    8/01 = 1.5 miles Walking Briskly
    8/02 = 1.5 miles Walking Briskly
    8/03 = 2 miles Walking Briskly
    8/04 = 2.5 Bike Riding Fast (knee bothering me) :sad:
    8/05 = 2 miles Briskly

    9.5 miles completed ! :glasses:
