60lbs lost (pic)

I started my account over two years ago here, but never used the website to it's fullest potential... After about a year of craziness, I finally got serious about diet and exercise. I started off by making subtle changes to my diet... The first was to quit the fast-food. The second goal, to quit drinking soda. Then I started to ease into exercise at first by walking, then jogging, and eventually worked my way up to Insanity and hiking with friends.

Weight: 135lbs

Right Picture: Taken approx. May 2011
Weight: 205lbs

I really wish I had taken pictures throughout my progress, but oh well.

Even though I lost as much weight as I did, I dropped down to 115lbs due to a nasty medical conditions... And subsequently, my weight shot back up again to 146lbs :blushing: -- which has ultimately brought me back to MFP!

My goal is to lose 30lbs this round... But this time, gaining lots of lean muscle. I lost a lot of muscle mass when I got ill, which made me sad... Since I worked so hard for it doing Insanity.

Things happen! Just trying to roll with it and get back on the wagon :)

Great before and after pictures! The good news is you know how to do it and get back in shape. I know its frustrating the set back with medical issues, but an even better reason to get healthy again.

    Awesomeeee ,
But I think the difference between 205 and 135 is 70 lbs not 60. :)

Haha, yeahh, I probably should have added at the top that I had gained back some.

    Jan 2011: 205lb
    Jan 2012: 135lbs
May 25 2012: 115 lbs (Thin, but miserable -- due to some health issues... So I don't really count my weight loss here.)
August 7 2012: Today I am 145 (Weight gain. Doctors say meds might be culprit, but the main one is that I couldn't keep down solids before... Finally could eat solids and keep down solids. Went a little overboard because it felt so good to eat "normal" foods again... Soo, my weight shot up -- but it was to be expected.)
    OMG! You look soo good!

    Thank you :)

I'll definitely be taking more pics for this 2nd Round...

145lbs to my goal of 110lbs (with lean muscle mass). Been working with a trainer and will be taking on Crossfit very soon. Nervous, but excited!

Will probably post them once I start getting some significant results.

You look wonderful. You are so beautiful. Awesome job. If you did it once, you can definitely do it again. I'm in the same boat as you so I totally understand. I'm coming back from a diffused brain injury and toxic poisoning. Hang in there and go for it!

Wow! You're truly an inspiration... So proud of you for getting back into, despite all of those tribulations.

    And thank you :flowerforyou:
