    IT helps when playing sports.

    Cons-
Its hard to buy clothes (even know in relatively decent shape its hard to find clothes that fit 6'5 257)
You always feel like you "stick out" for the wrong reasons
    being called "big guy"

I don't like my height. I want to be more average 5'5 would be great. At 4'10 every pound is like 5lbs to another, I guess. It's always been a down fall for me.

    5'10"

No everyday concerns, but if I was a few inches taller I would have played D1 football...which probably wouldn't be a positive as I'd just have been good enough to be out there, and not good enough to make it into a living.

Honestly, it's nice being normal here.

5'9" these days.... Never fear folks, you start to shrink after 50 ish!! I still mourn the loss of my 3/4".

Pro: Can hold my weight well
    Con: None for me.

    5'4"

Pros: There aren't many guys that are shorter than me, and I like my guys "tall" (to me that's 5'10" or taller). Also, I can wear heals without worrying about making my SO self-conscious about appearing to be shorter than me. Many people tend to underestimate me, which I have found I can often use to my advantage.

Cons: 10 extra pounds may as well be 20 on me. People often mistake me for being short. I'm not short, I'm average. There are more women who are 5'4"-5'6" than any other height, and petite/short length jeans are high waters on me. Only average length will do. It seems that all kitchen cabinets were designed only for tall people...even at an average height, I still have to use a stool most of the time.

    I'm 5'0". Yes, 5 feet tall.

Cons: I can't reach things, nobody wants to date a borderline midget, I'm even shorter than most women. Sigh.

Pros: I'm as they say "fun-sized."

I think I'm safe saying that Men find short and tall women equally attractive.

I don't think height matters much to men. Hell if single, and a taller woman was interested, I would date a woman a little taller than me even.

So if you are 4'10 or 6' or more it doesn't matter to us.

    5'9"

    Pros
    - On a smaller/shorter frame, my boobs would look obnoxiously huge. They work for me.
    - Like others have said, I look like I weigh less than I do.
    - Definitely comes in handy with combative/uncooperative patients.
    - Putting on heels occasionally and towering over people feels empowering. ;)

    Cons
    - I've been the same height since I was 11. Being a head taller than 90% of the males until late high school was...awkward.
    - Every time I see a basketball, I have to fight the urge to stab it to death. Constantly hearing "Do you play basketball?" and "Why don't you try basketball?" while growing up got REALLY old.
    - 20 pounds of weight lost doesn't feel (or look) like much.
    - My boyfriend and I are about the same height, so I'm taller than him with heels on. Doesn't bother me, but I know it makes him feel a little silly.
    - I think it's pretty easy to find "tall" pants/jeans...shirts, not so much. Between my height and my boobs, finding shirts that fit correctly can be annoying.

    5'10

Pros: I can reach the top shelf at department stores.... everyone automatically assumes i am athletic... everyone says "you look skinny" when you are actually 10 lbs overweight

Cons: have to sit awkwardly in a car... forget trying to sit across from someone at dinner unless u like knocking knees... back problems and you cant wear heels around your other average sized girlfriends LOL

    5'5"

Pro: I am not asked to get things of the top shelf
Con: The top shelf is where they keep the good stuffs

To be honest, I don't care ether way about my height. If someone isn't going to like me because of that; it is their problem not mine... same with weight(though working on this one for myself... and to surprise someone)

Cons: It takes more time to look "jacked"

    I'm 5'2"

Pros: I look underage so I can get into movies at kid prices (sometimes) and I can tell creepsters that I'm underage if they bother me.

Cons: I have no trunk (abs or "short waisted" I don't get the last part but whatever) and every OUNCE shows on me. :(

I'm completely average at 5'7" My only issue is its all in the torso, not in the legs.

Pros, I seem to do okay holding my weight. I can wear heals fine, but prefer Nike's.

Cons- I can see most guy's nose hairs... nasty. I have no legs so I have to pull the seat almost all the way forward in every car. I still can't reach the tall shelf in the grocery store or cabinet at home. I seem to have midget children now.

    I'm 5'3"...
Cons are that... well... I'm too short to reach most of the stuff in my kitchen cabinets but my 5'6" daughter isn't.
Pros are that I've never been turned off by a man because he was shorter than me... cause really who is

To clarify as a guy there is no pro to being shorter....Only cons. Unless you are SO tall you look like a freak of nature next to most women. As in You Ming 7'7 tall.

    Exactly!

As a guy, you want to be a minimum of 6'0".

I am just below that, and while I am taller than most women, there are still women (about 5% of the population) that will deem my height insufficient. I tend to focus my efforts on women 5'7" and under for this reason.

Actually, anything between 5'10" and 6'4" works for me. I'm 5'4", so as long as they're at least 6" taller than me, I'm good. In some cases, 6'5"-6'6" is nice if he has enough meat on his bones to offset the height.

    I'm 5'3"

Pro: I get a calf workout anytime I kiss my 6'2" boyfriend
I can hide in small spaces
I can wear any heels I want without towering over people

    Con: Low calories on MFP
    I can't reach top shelves
    I can't see anything in a crowd
The back hem of my jeans frequently frays

    I'm 4ft 11.5 inches.

    Pros:
My husband gives me piggyback rides and carries me easily:)
Short people have little feet, so we can always find shoes our size
Hide and seek was always fun fitting into anything
I can always find pants, sometimes to long but one roll up will do it
    Everyone thinks your cute lol

    Cons:
    Can't reach a damn thing
    short jokes
when you gain weight you look really chubby
It took me a long time to get to this height, so before I couldn't ride a lot of rides
slow at running(for me anyways) I have more torso then legs

    5'10"

Pro: My mom is tall too - so it was always easy to find her in the shopping malls if we separated. (she is a shop-a-holic)

Con: Nobody notices the 16 pounds I've lost so far :(

Pet Peeve: When in a store shopping, and you ask "do you have this in tall" and the answer is this:

"NO, but you can order it in tall ONLINE" -- IF I wanted to shop online, I wouldn't be in the store! UGH!

    I'm 5'3.5"

    Pros:
I can meld into a crowd better than my tall friends
I can enjoy spending time with kids on their level
My weight distributes well because people always underestimate my weight. (not sure if this is because of my height or my build)
I'm nearly always the shorter person in a relationship (I like my partner taller than me)
If I trip and fall (and I do, I'm accident prone) the ground isn't as far away!
I never have to worry about being too tall to do XYZ or having to duck when entering a lowish entrance. Pretty sure I've never been too short for something either.
I personally view myself as more feminine because I'm short (not that I will ever say that someone else is less feminine because they are considered tall)

    Neither pro nor con:
I am often viewed as being younger than my biological age because of my height. Getting carded - great. Being treated as if I'm immature/unintelligent/should still be in high school - not so much.

    Cons:
My family of 5'9" + people have a bigger wingspan than me and I regularly lose at keep away.
Sometimes I wish I could look more people in the eyes rather than having them look down at me or have to look up to see faces
Stepladder to reach things in the top cupboards in my kitchen. Sigh. Keep away game once again. My family lovingly tease me about needing a ladder/chair to get things.
  • I'm 5'10"

Pro: people think I weigh less than I do, and I can reach everything.

Con: I'm taller than my husband, I will always weigh more than I'd like to because of my height, and it seems to make actually losing weight more difficult.

5’10” Well…I would have to say all Pros for me  I use to have cons when I was a teenager because in high school all the short boys liked me and the tall boys liked the short girls ~ Strange ~ but I am over it ~ my husband who is 5’8” he loves it that I wear my 3 or 4 inch heels when we go out!! If it does not bother him then it does not bother me ~

    6'6"

Pros: Picked first in basketball (and ridiculed when they find out I'm horrible), but much easier to spike a volleyball which I can do!

Cons: Will never EVER fit comfortably in those little sportscars... have to be aware of ceiling fans, chandeliers, not-so-low hanging tree branches. Finding "tall" sizes in stores... finding size 14-15 (depending on the brand) shoes that don't cost a fortune...
