  • Bump, I'm interested in the responses as well.

I like chicken breast, yogurt, boiled or poached eggs, but i would like more ideas.

    Whole foods, not Franken foods.

    Welcome to MFP!

I'll go with my staples. Primary is what I eat for protein. Secondary and tertiary are the foods I eat for fiber, good carbs, good fats but also have considerable protein.

Primary: Chicken breast, tuna (2-3 cans a week), cottage cheese, low fat yogurts that are high in protein like greek yogurt in US, eggs
Secondary: Legumes (beans, lentils), milk, any cheese
    Tertiary: Walnuts, almonds, peanut butter
  • I was just discussing this with my husband that I was thinking about getting whey protein powder and he says "powder??? Just eat steak!!"

    I love that man.

My highest sources of protein are Greek yogurt, chicken, tuna, salmon, ground turkey/chicken, and protein powder. And for other decent sources of protein, I look to cheese, milk, nuts, nut butters, and beans.

Greek Yougurt I mix it in with my steel cut oats for breakfeast and I use it for as a fruit dip for my apples and banannas. I dont eat much meat on a regular basis also some nuts here and there and some protein powder every now and then.
