Aisics nimbus-14 is my current favorite flavor. Best running shoe I have ever had I think.0

ASICS ALL THE WAY BABY - I use to work in a sport shop - yes they are the BEST!!!!0
-
Asics don't fit my feet. I wear Brooks... even though they are probably the ugliest shoes ever built. Just got some new Pure Flows though... not sure if I like them as much as my Adrenalines though.
I also have Vibram 5 Finger Bikilas. Good times!0 -
Well I guess it all depends on where u do your running & your foot type. I trail run & my feet have high arches. I love the Newton running shoes. Best shoes I've ever felt. A little pricey but well worth it. My runner up is the Salomon XR Mission. I love them almost as much as my Newton's. Other shoes I've tried give me knee or hip pain, not these babies!0

It depends on what kind of running. I have a pair of Salomon trail runners, also have a pair of Zoot (tri-athlete runner) and ASICS Gel-Equation.
I think my ASICS are my favourite - that may also be because, Ive just got them.0 -
I've been running in Brooks Adrenaline for about 10 years now. I couldn't ask for a better or more consistent shoe. The best advice I can give though would be to go to a specialist running store and talk to the people there. I've heard good things about just about every brand of quality running shoe, and those guys at the store can help you find the best one for your feet and stride.0

I run road and over-pronate so it's asics 2160 for me! I heart asics... plus they are wide enough for my duck feet0
-
Find a running shoe store in your area and get fitted. No two people have the same feet so what one person favors will be different for the other.0
-
Need to know what kind of support or lack of you need, do you pronate or supinate ? high arch or low ? footstrike ?0
-
I own a pair of Nike Relentless 2 and love them. Really comfortable and light, don't cost a fortune either.0
-
I had asics but they rubbed my feet the wrong way so I got a pair of Nike Free Runs. Love them and they are so breathable due to the mesh on top. Cute too, you design your own online!0

I bought my first pair of Brooks a few months ago and I really like them. They are basic in design but they are starting to come out with some more attractive styles.
I plan to stick with Brooks from now on. Asics is a good brand too though.
Have you ever gone to a running store to have them analyze your gait and recommend a pair? If not, that would be a good next step.0 -
Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6.0
-
I really like my Aasics and Brooks!!!0
-
You need to go to a running store and get properly fitted. They can tell you what shoe is best for your type foot and gait.0
-
Vibrams. I've stopped wearing toe corsets altogether and own 4 pairs of Vibrams. 1 for winter, 2 for general use, and 1 for running.0
-
Definitely go to a running shoe store and have them recommend a running shoe for you - different types of shoes based on under/over-pronation, gait, etc. You are not obligated to buy shoes from them and they can at least point you in the right direction!0
-
go get fitted for the proper running shoe!
I prefer Nike free but I also have Saucony.I pronate correctly and strike correctly after lots of practice (I used to heel strike) all these factors determine what kind of shoe you should wear.0 -
I recommend you go to a good running store and get fitted there. They will measure your foot in different ways and watch you run. Then they will make the right recommendation for you. I tried on dozens of shoes before I broke down and did this and I so glad I did. There is no one shoe that works for everyone.
By the way, I ended up with Brooks Adrenaline GTS12. I feel like I am running on clouds.0 -
I use Newton's too. Great shoe even though it is a little pricey.0
-
I have Asics -gel foundation and they do well for me as I have flat feet. I tried the Brooks and I ended up with a bruised toe and lost my toenail. I liked the color of the brooks, but I learned my lesson to go for fit not fashion. Go get fitted and recomended for good shoes. I run 5-7 miles a day and although they are $99 + it is worth every penney if you really want to start running.0

I am really glad ya'll are talking about this. A lot of the shoes I've never even heard of. The pricest runners I've ever even thought of were Nike's & when I tried them on I hurt just standing there! I am on a long weight loss journey, but an aunt of mine lost over 200lbs by starting off slowly & then taking up running. I think I have finally met my running weight goal. I guess my next step is to take everyones advice, find a "running store" & get fitted for a good pair. My Reebok's are just not cutting it anymore (don't want to run in pain).0

I'm a new runner myself, and I just got a pair of Vibram Five Finger Bilika shoes. I LOVE them! so comfortable, so natural! If you've run before, you would be better off going to a "traditional" minimalist shoe. These shoes use different muscles than what's used in regular shoes.0
-
Nothing fits me as well as my Saucony's! But I recommend going to a running store and getting fitted cuz all our feetsies are different!0
-
I my New Balance running shoes. Great cushion and support for me, I road run.0
-
Brooks all the way. I have an old pair of trail running shoes from them that lasted me many years, and a new pair of PureFlows that I love love love.
I think it's funny how people are talking about how stylin' Asics are... they look like nurse shoes to me! But you gotta run in what feels right and gives you the best run.0 -
ASICS ALL DAY EVERY DAY!!!! USED TO DO 5 MILES+ A DAY ,AND AM WRKING BACK 2 THAT GOAL! I HAVE WIDE/FLAT FEET THAT NEVER FELT GOOD IN SNEAKERS!!!!....UNTILL I FEEL IN LOVE W/ ASICS!! HAVE FUN!!0
-
I have been wearing Asics for the past two years-mostly the GEL. I also like Saucony. If there is a store by the name of Fleet Feet in your area, I highly recommend you check them out. The closest one to me is 150 miles away but I do try to make it there at least once a year. It is in my hometown.0

Is there a reason you're thinking of changing?
I'm a firm believer that if it ain't broke don't fix it. If you have shoes that are comfortable and you're running injury free stick with the same model (maybe change the colour).0 -
I love my Fila Skeletoes, I even love the funny looks I get at races!0
