week off from training

is it better to take a week off of training so the muscles can rest and growth, I asking this because I am training non stop and very sore?

Rest days are very important. My trainer has me lifting every other day - running every other day and doing Zumba 2 - 3 times per week. I never run or lift 2 days in a row. Muscles cannot rebuild unless you rest them.0
