When I don't eat much, I get these problems?

So when I don't eat much:
*my stomach feels like a terrible open void. I don't know how to explain it. It feels like there's nothing in it and it has a lot of pressure.
*my head hurts. Especially in the car. It feels like there's so much pressure in it and I can't stand light or electronics.
*when I stand, I get head rushes. Like, every time I stand up. It turns all black and woozy.
*I feel all wobbly, like I'm about to fall over. Like I said earlier, I feel all woozy, and I feel like I should just black out.

Also, since I can't eat unhealthy foods, I get really pissy when there's food around. I just watch everyone enjoying the cookies or whatever, and I sometimes will steal a little bit of one, but then I'll get all mad at myself. And then people are taking multiple servings and I just can't fathom why they can do that when I can't... like it's not fair. It's really dumb though, because to sum it up, I get upset just because of food.

You're cranky cause your hungry. I know because I have been there. Your stomach feels empty because its sending the hunger message to your brain that it needs something to digest.

Also, your head hurts because you are hungry...If you are eating so little that you get head rushes every time you stand up, along with dizziness, you need to eat some more. Seriously! You are only gonna be miserable and hurt your efforts if you don't eat more.

With the "I cant eat that" sentiment, I was so miserable. I was jealous of other people. Then when I ate those things, I felt like a s****y person for it. Its not right! Let yourself have a small portion of these things every now and again. Work hard at the gym. You will be ALOT better off !!!
  • Then eat more! D: Looking at your diary...why do you have it set to only 800 a day? Your body needs at least 1200 to function properly which is why you would have all those icky feelings >__<

Oh, lordy, honey --- I hate to break this to you, but at 18, you are a calorie torching machine and it's all downhill from here. You need to eat reasonably, including the odd treat, and exercise regularly. Form these habits now and you'll be well served for the rest of your life.

You have some growing up yet to do - believe me, I wouldn't be 18 again for all the cookies in the world because you don't know if you're coming or going. Trust me when I tell you - you have THE most negative image of yourself and your body. I hope, for your sake, you come to a true appreciation of who you are sooner than I did and realize that "skinny" isn't a goal worth your time. "Strong," "Capable," "Involved..." Those are goals worth striving for.

    Good luck on your journey!

This. If you feel I'll because you aren't eating enough then eat more.

And if that is you in your profile picture you really do not need to lose any weight. Eating 800 calories a day is just going to do your body harm in the long run. You should be eating at least 1200 a day and more if you are exercising!

Your body needs food to run. It's like driving a car without gas - doesn't work so well.
  • OF COURSE YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE THOSE SYMPTOMS!!! EAT, you skinny thing!! That is YOU in your profile picture isn't it?? lol!!! Eat some eggs. Eat a chicken salad.. something with protein to hold you over for longer!! And treat yourself sometimes when your friends are eating unhealthy foods.. But always try to eat a small (healthy) snack before you go!! That way you won't eat as much. And on those days you do eat unhealthy foods, just burn it off!! Simple as that. Don't be all angry all the time, and hungry. THAT is UNHEALTHY!!!

Oh, hun. Rule #1 of weightloss: Don't go hungry. Find ways to eat as much as you need to while staying under your calorie goal, i.e., eating healthier foods that are just as filling as unhealthy ones.

I think you know what you need to do. Why are you searching for someone else to tell you? And all of these people have good advice, so you should listen. Up your calories or you're going to damage your internal organs. You may not be able to see it, but the symptoms you're having is the same of someone who is malnourished.

Quit stalling and actually try to accept the fact you need food to live. EAT. You can also enjoy some treats! Learn to love yourself and your body. Everyone else can see you're beautiful and thin. Now you need to accept that you ARE beautiful and thin.

As with all of your other posts, you should seek professional help.
  • I agree with seeking professional help. You DO NOT need to lose weight, and you certainly don't need to be eating a mere 800 calories per day! You're body is starving!! You need calories!! Eat!!

Seeing as you clearly have ED symptoms and are not a member of an ED recovery board (and posted this in a main forum), methinks you're looking for the enabling attention of, "Omg, you're not eating enough!"

Having been there for a long, long time... stop. Don't post these things here. It's triggering for other people, and it enables your continued behavior. Go seek professional help.

You need seek professional help. You obvioously have a body image disorder. You are underweight as it is and if you don't get help, you are going to permanently damage your body and you may well die from it.

Please talk to someone in your everyday life who loves you, and let them know what is going on.

Sometimes we have to admit that we are doing unhealthy things to our bodies. I had to admit I am over weight and work to imporive that to improve my health, you need to admit you are starving yourself and make a lifestyle change to help you get back to a healthy weight and maintain it

Just looked at some of her other posts where she discusses how she binges and purges and constantly under eats and over exercises. I think your post is spot on.

Yeah, I did the whole 800 calorie thing and was working out and almost passed out on the treadmill - twice. I am now eating at 1200 calories, (it's hard going up at first), but now I can work out harder, not be hungry and most importantly not pass out. Eat and drink more. By the way, I've lost more weight since eating more. Weird I know.

I would agree with what everyone is saying in regards to professional help even if its just to discuss the way you're feeling because you may want to be remembered as the healthy girl at school but you really don't want to be in the position of trying to sort out an unhealthy relationship with food at 30 + Bear in mind a lot of the feelings of irritability you're describing could well be because your blood sugar levels are just too low in which case you are risking a lot of things like your future fertility.
Hugs but get help in the really real not the internet real x
