I'm kinda in a rut... List 10 foods that you always have handy in your fridge, or on your counter. :drinker:

  • 1. Boneless, skinless chicken breasts (organic is best but not cheap!)
    2. Frozen spinach
    3. canned beans (mostly black beans, fat free refrieds, canellini, kidney, and garbanzos). Low-sodium is best, otherwise rinse well.
    4. canned low sodium tomatoes, any variety
    5. tofu
    6. raw almonds
    7. a variety of vinegars (red wine, champagne, rice, cider, etc.)
    8. avocados
    9. miso paste
    10. a variety of mushrooms

    1. whole wheat bread. love my bread
    2. cheese, any variety. I usually go low fat but not always. Some people will say cheese is bad for you but it's not really unless you're eating too much of it.
    3. yogurt- yummy
    4. apples, they really fill me up
    5. chicken, I like it roasted with rosemary, mmm
    6. chocolate, because life isn't worth living without it
    7. asparagus, oh I love it :)
    8. sweet potatos- so yummy, I like them sliced then baked with a little olive oil
    9. hummus- with red pepper slices for dippin
    10. peanut butter- all natural.
