Perhaps you could tell us what you DO eat. That might be easier.0
-
Have a carrot.0
-
chicken, pork, tilapia, grapes, apples, bananas, carrots, lettuce, cottage cheese (does not taste like cheese), eggs, salsa, cauliflower
Google recipes w/ these ingredients. I'm sure you will find plenty0 -
Chicken, potatoes, salad (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber) cheese, pastas, bacon, pork, bratwurst, carrots brocolli, cauli, cabbage.
I eat the same meals weekly. Looking for inspiration - something good for me, tasty and that doesnt take alot of doing.0 -
Lunches - ham and cheese sandwich on good quality bread with whatever salad veggies you can manage. Or a wrap using humous and grated carrot. Or make a soup or stew again using the veggies yo DO like (carrot and sweet potato maybe?). or have a baked potato topped with tuna.
Dinners - grilled lean meats such as steak or chicken breast or white fish, served with a quinao pilaf. Omelette.0 -
I never think of an omlette as a main in a meal - usually eat for lunch on its own.
Are there any foods that naturally help you loose weight ?0 -
Are you freaking serious?
WHY dont you eat these things?0 -
haha yeah im serious my diet consists of mailnly (there are other things):
Chicken, potatoes, salad (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber) cheese, pastas, bacon, pork, bratwurst, carrots brocolli, cauli, cabbage yorkshire puddings, eggs, garlic, bread (lots) noodles pizza!
Mainly dont eat those other foods because i dont like them (i do try them to re-confirm now and again) or because they make me sick.0 -
I'm having a hard time getting past the initial list and the limit of what you do want to eat, however, I did notice you said only 800 cal total??? Do you mean for each meal, or is that all you want to eat for the day?0
-
LOL
Omg, you're pickier than I am, didn't know that was possible.
I guess I'd try to branch out a little. Your restrictions sure are gonna make dieting difficult0 -
Just wanted to state that your "Do no eat" food list looks a lot like my grocery list. How do you survive on on the 5 foods you DO eat?0
-
This is going to be a major and frequent obstacle for you reaching your goals.0

Seriously!
Being a picky eater is hard work.0 -

It really is its hard to deal with and stay motivated when i get stick for it everywhere I go as all my friends and colleagues eat whatevre they are given. Im constantly saying can i have it without this and without that.......
Ive a sensitive stomache too so i cant eat curries or spicy foods either as they make me ill.0 -

its why i give up its hard being around people who eat everything - even KFC chicken is too rich and spicy!0 -

There are healthy choices and less healthy choices in foods. There isn't any magic food that makes you lose weight. If there were, everyone would be eating it. Generally speaking, the healthier the choices you make, the better for you and for weight loss. Food is fuel. Your body is a machine and when it is tuned properly, it is going to use the fuel..... not store it as fat.0 -

1. What do you mean Even KFC - KFC is nothing like the fresh proteins and vegetables you gave a long list of that you wont eat. KFC is crap fast food, who cares about fast food. You need to change what you do and dont like. You control what you like. Its not like falling in love where its out of your hands, its about personal preference. have you tried those foods up there in different ways - and NO I DONT MEAN boiled vs steamed vs cold. I mean - have you grilled asparagus with tiny pearl onions and bits of chicken, brushed with garlic and lemon? How about attacking the vegetarian and organic sections of the supermarket - not to BE vegetarian, but to find some of their food you like just to like it. If you're going to put out a santa-length list of things you will stomp your foot and refuse to eat - then you better be getting wildly creative trying to find new things that you WILL eat.
Or you're going to get older and weaker easier than everyone else. *raises eyebrows* not sexy, right?
2. If you quit simply because its hard to be around people who dont make healthy food choices... then what does this say about how much you actually want to reach your goals?
It says you'd rather eat crap and avoid 75% of healthy foods because for you - getting the shape you want just isnt a priority.
And thats ok. Just dont complain about what you do not want to change0 -
That is a very long list of many delicious foods! I can't imagine not eating almost all of those things.0

I dont eat fast foods at all KFC was an example of the flavours and how easily im affected by foods.
And yes i do try new foods and old in different ways - im the fisrt person to try other peoples dinners to see if i like it. But I can help what i do and dont like - i had homemade rump steak burgers last night - im not a big meat fan but got through 2/3 before i gave up and that was with a toasted bun lettuce mayo tomato and cucumber.
The crap i eat is snacks - crisps chocolate and biscuits - apart from that i eat healthy good foods occasionally having a pizza or a bacon sandwich.0 -
It must be a challenge for you to get any protein or Iron at all, two major components for a healthy diet found in practically every single thing you have mentioned. I think the first thing you should do is try and change your attitude towards these foods, I tend to find that certain foods I hated as a child I eventually grew to love once I had tried them a few times in different meals. Eating the same meals every week is not going to help you gain the necessary vitamins, minerals to lead a strong and healthy lifestyle as your body will get used to 'doing without', aka deficiency.
Instead of focusing on just two main meals a day, why don't you aim for smaller portions? Three main meals a day and some healthy snacks in between (such as a handful of almonds, some blueberries) would divide your calorie intake a little bit more evenly than simply forcing yourself to get through two meals a day at 800 kcaI a piece. Instead of attempting to finish a homemade rump steak burger and feeling like you haven't quite managed, why not aim for smaller amounts of these foods (including a bit of everything) so that way you're still maintaining a healthy diet without making it too challenging. Therefore your energy levels would remain relatively constant and wouldn't lead to any binging or junk food.
Just a suggestion0 -

Hmm i have found that th older i get the worse me dislikes are, as a child i ate alot more.
I work 42 hours a week and so more meals are a challenge but i could try that i could split my lunch.
I tend to find that i survive on cups of tea - fills me up (i know its a bad habit really i do) and this is another reason im wanting to crack my bad eating habits and lack of imagination. I want to rely on foods making me full instead of liquids. Im trying carrot sticks but i tend to find i just want more......
Ive been told that munching little and oftern is ideal so im trying chopped fruits and carrots (have a tub on my desk) and whenever im in need of snacks i have some.
I really do try different foods and i know im STUPIDLY PICKY
appreciating the feedback0 -
You probably need to add some protein to the snacks to help you feel satisfied. Find something you like that has protein to snack on as well.0
