    Music of the dark variety sometimes - NIN, VNV Nation, Joy Division, Depeche Mode...

    For running, mostly trance and club music - Armin van Buuren, Gabriel and Dresden, Tiesto, Goldfrapp, Cascada, etc etc I could go on for a bit... If you can download an entire session of Armin's State of Trance, it's fantastic for a long run.

    And the occasional Europop/dance/80s - Madonna, September, Velvet, Lady Gaga, 80s one hit wonders...

    Sometimes rock and alternative - The Killers, Radiohead, old 90s stuff (AKA glory days of grunge and college rock)

    My personal favorite is the "House Selection" the bpm in these songs really gets you moving!
