Friend Says She Sees a Difference in Me, I'm Not Seeing It

So, this isn't a cry for attention or fishing for compliments. I legitimately do not see a difference between my body 11 lbs ago and now. My friend says my face has thinned out and she can tell, but I'm just not seeing it. Today was my last day at work, and so I thought it fitting to wear the same clothes I wore my first day, and since I took a picture for my first day I have something to compare. The originals were from May of 2011, when I fluctuated between 210-212 lbs. I'm currently fluctuating between 197-199 lbs.
If anything, I think my face from 2011 looks smaller than my current face. Am I crazy or what?

Girl, give it time. I have lost alot of weight, and emotionally I still see the 340lb me. If your friend sees a difference then she probably does. Take that good compliment and use it as motivation. Keep it up.0

i dont see it either, but you're talking a 10lb difference. Give it some time. Hug your friend they are trying to be polite and encouraging.0

I see a difference for sure. Yes your face looks trimmer, as do you. Your top is fitting nicely. Whereas before it wasn't fitting as nicely(I don't mean that as an insult)
You definitely look noticeably better. And I think your tummy looks smaller.
I understand the not seeing it so much yourself. I think it's a female thing. Like people rate my body as being better then I rate it. So I know how you feel.
We fix one thing and forget to acknowledge what we have fixed. We instead hoon in on our imperfections.0 -
Your hair and earrings are pretty different.0

I don't see a difference but I don't see a difference on me either after losing 9 pounds and everybody else seems to see it. Give it some more time.0

I see a difference. Its not dramatic, but a difference none the less. I think you're new hair style looks better as well.
Keep working on it, and you'll get where you want to be0 -

First thing I noticed were her arms as well. Your shirt seems more form fitting also. People seem to want instant gratification when it comes to losing weight and we want that 11 pounds to look like 20, 30, 40 or more when we stand in front of the mirror and it just doesn't work that way, well unless of course you get behind one of those crazy ones at the fair that make you like a pencil lol. I think that you should allow your friend to give you compliments and accept them as valid because the more positive you have around you will keep you motivated and in a better mood, and eventually you're going to look in the mirror one day and see it for yourself and hopefully soon. Give yourself credit for the 11 pounds0 -
Less than a 5% change in weight is not going to really show on most folks. But I bet it makes a difference in your health, and hopefully you feel better. Your friend has taken note of your lifestyle changes and is trying to be encouraging, just take it at that. Maybe you are carrying yourself with more energy and confidence.
You have made some healthy changes just keep with it, keep pushing, and you'll see results.0 -
Brutally honest guy here. I don't see a diff either. Like the others have said. Take the compliment and use it as fuel. 10 pounds is not much and a difference wont really start to show until you hit that 20+ mark.0

I think it's slight but there, as 10 lbs would be. Your shirt looks to be fitting better, not pulling across the bust and tummy the same as it was in the first pic. It was about 15 lbs when I could start to feel it/see it in myself, but not until 30 lbs when other people were noticing. Just be patient, it takes much more time than most people are willing to give it. Know you're making a difference and just keep at it and soon you'll see it for sure!0
