Is 20 minutes of cardio a day enough?

I think it depends how intense it is, the 30 day shred 20 mins is plenty, for example. However if 20 mins doesn't make you feel really pushed go longer, as others have said, time yourself but don't let that be the main point, go till you can't any more.0

It's enough to maintain but probably not enough to lose weight at a decent pace.
It's way better than nothing though.0 -
0 minutes of cardio is enough.. since i have done none for 12 weeks(my own lil experiment). good for heart health though.
Will add it back in later. But didn't do a day of planned cardio the past 12 weeks. So I suppose 20 will be enough. That's how I plan to add it back in for the next 8 weeks. Two 20 minutes sessions.0 -
Enough for WHAT? Whether or not it's "enough" depends on what your goal is. Weight loss? One pound or one hundred?0

Yea in reality cardio is optional, good point april. That is essentially what I do april. I wake up, meditate to something or relax my mind for a good 5 min then stretch take my caffeine pill, and whatever I have to take. 30 minutes later I do my cardio for 20 minutes then stop. Wait maybe 15 minutes until breakfast to about 30 min. After weights I do another 20 min. If I want to increase my cardio then I just increase it to 30 min in the morning and then 30 min after weights. Long cardio sessions are extremely boring to me. I feel like a hamster on a wheel.0
