    Aside from Rush being number 1 (there is no other whose music I will buy without listening to it first), the others, in no particular order:

    Metallica (before Load)
    AC/DC
    Led Zepplin
    Black Sabbath (the Ozzy years)

    Honourable mention also goes to: Def Leppard, KISS, Ozzy Osbourne, Tool, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Ted Nugent, Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Poison, Triumph and a bunch of others.

    Say what you will about hair metal but I will point out two things... 1) it's metal and 2) it got me through the disco era!

    You will love seeing them for the first time. Just remember, they're only a three-piece band. You will be blown away.

    I'll be seeing them in less than a month (!!) I've now seen them over 30 times!!
