**** censorship!

Reading another thread here, the one regarding books becoming movies, it made me laugh how a name was starred out even though it's the common nickname for men named 'Richard'.
(My husband refuses to call a British dessert by its common name, so he renamed it 'Bespeckled Richard'. I'm sure you can guess which!)
I also had an issue with a word used to describe 'leaning' ones head to oneside.
Any other odd/funny **** incidents you've come across thanks to the filter?

I've seen actor **** van *kitten*'s name censored before. All starred out but the first D's and it took me a minute to figure out who was being talked about.
Edit: Yeah like that.0 -
Yeah... nothing's censored manually... there is just a series of letter combinations that are listed and when they appear in sequence together they are starred out. Sometimes it looks stupid.0

If I send an email to my boyfriend about the place S****horpe in the uk it gets blocked...0

If its appropriate, like talking about spotted dick... they wont yell at you for going around the filter.
but if its not appropriate, like MrDude_1 is a total dick... then they will yell at you for going around the filter.
just put a bold marking in the middle of the word.. be forwarned, do it on an actual swear, and they see it, you'll get a warning.. but it lets you say dick Van *kitten*... quote this message to see how i did it... btw this works on most forums.0 -

I once typed Josie and the ***** Cats and it censored it.
See... It did it again. I guess I have to type Josie and the Kitty Cats when talking about a childhood cartoon character.0 -
I just discovered that Wenis is a real word. It's the excess skin on your elbows. Use it. Knowledge is power.0

Thank you, I just learned something new. I will now start calling people 'Wenises" when I am wissed off.0 -

Can I say *kitten* without a censor?
Only if you pronounce it the proper New Jersey way, with two syllables as in "she was a real who-waa"0
