Does Anyone Else Notice....

That since they've been eating healthy, exercising and losing weight they have more energy and are less tired overall?? Im an early riser and have been for years. When I say early....I dont mean 5 or 6 a.m.. Im talking 130--2 a.m. That being said I tend to hit the bed kinda early....by like 8p.m. usually. Since Ive been on this weight loss thingy.........Ive got energy Im not sure what to do with. It feels kinda good to be honest. But this whole sleep thing is whacked.

So, who else experiences this and what do you do with it?? Is it pretty "normal"??

TIA

Agreed had a binge slip up the other day and couldnt wake up. I was waking up much earlier while eating right, and I'm not a morning person.
  • I have a good deal more general energy. I have become more focused on time management. I have a healthy tiredness at the end of the day. Sleep is a funny thing - Winston Churchill said he had the super gene that meant he needed little sleep. I would say as long as you can do things you want and it doesn't impact on your life with your significant other then it's probably fine. Personally I would try and adjust my sleep pattern to a later bed time and a more reasonable get up time.

damn that is crazy early! what does one do at that time of day when its considered morning and not night? :O but yes eating healthy definitely gives you energy; your body isnt bogged down by a bunch of crap :D

There isnt a whole helluva lot to do at that time of day --trust me. Most people frown on being called at that time for some reason.:blushing:

I do love the quiet though...the so far untouched part of my day. Like many others here I work in a busy busy loud office. I find the silence at 2 am quite refreshing. Fortunately my fiance' doesnt sleep much better so we often have coffee at that time (he makes a killer cuppa coffee) My Lil Diva...aka "Killer" (thats her pic posted over there <~~~~) loves it when we get up because it means she's gonna get a fresh drink and get her breakfast.

Ive tried staying up til midnight in the hopes of sleeping later but it doesnt work........I still wake at about 130. I try sleeping in on the weekends but seldom make it past 3. It is frustrating but I guess we've adapted. The puzzling part since Ive been eating so much better and exercising is not being able to go to sleep at night. I literally lay awake for hours trying to sleep whereas before Id was out cold within a couple minutes of crawling in bed and cuddling with Killer.

Have a stunning day people. Eat Healthy...........move.....snack healthier and love life.

Yes, definitely more energy, especially since cutting way back on the CARBS, CARBS, CARBS. They used to be almost my entire diet.
