So I get a call this morning from a good friend, and she says I have something to tell you ... but I am afraid to hurt your feelings... I am like ok just spit it out! So she tells me that this guy i have been seeing for maybe a month, said some rude jokes around her and her boyfriend... im like ok what did he say??? "Jackie is like a moped, youd ride her but you wouldnt want your friends to know" and "I wouldnt touch Jackie's fat *kitten* with a 10 foot pole" .... what is wrong with people????? OUCH!!

I was married to someone like that (note the past tense). I don't know what is wrong with people - there is no excuse for the insentitive comments. Did he really think it was funny? I'm sure he is Mr. Universe?0

That does suck! I'm sorry that you wasted even a week much less a month on someone like that (better to find out he's an *kitten* now than later). Don't say you hate men...that is not a man you described, he is a little boy. Do yourself a favor, don't even dignify what he said with a response. It's not worth it. Shake off the rude comments and vow that next time you will find yourself a gentleman not a toddler.0

At the risk of making a comment, I just wanted to say that this guy is by no means a "man"! I know plenty of guys that have that same attitude and I feel sorry for them. As far as I am concerned their comments, as well as this guy's comments, will come back and bite him in the butt 10-fold! Gotta love karma!!!

I mean i wasnt really emotionally attached to this guy so its not hard to blow him off... its harder to blow the comment off...

Due to censoring of curse words, I can't spew out the thought that immediately came to mind.
What I can say is he must be a low life, insecure boy to make such horrible comments about someone so wonderful. He has no idea what he's lost. You are better off without. I applaud your girlfriend for telling you the truth of the situation.

The awful thing he said was an evil lie. So you can choose to believe it and let it haunt you or you can do what I know you will do: Live with the truth and only the truth. It's a conscious choice, and one that you might have to make 100 times a day at first, when it pops up in your head. But every time you choose to rebuke that lie it will get easier.
Do not buy into it - we have enough to deal with in life to let that kind of garbage rule the day.

I so easily could have decided to hate all men after what happened with my ex, but I didn't, and I'm glad. I kept my heart open because there are good people out there, even if they are few and far between.

not all men are aholes...*kitten*...worthless....there are a lot of good men out here....it's not good to take a whole group of people and hate them all because of what one guy did.....it seems like this might have already happened to another group of people......black people....they sure got lumped into one whole group because of a few peoples ignorance .....maybe even the "Jews" and possibly even the American Indians....
We really shoot ourselves in the foot when we group people all together like that.....

Intelligence is not one of that guy's strong points, so since he is that stupid, I would not give his remarks any credit at all either. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if he thinks that the only criteria for beauty is to look like a skeleton then let him date one. I know it hurts when someone is insensitive or right out rude, but I always look at the sorce, is that someone I really value? or just someone I was blindet by for a while?
So get up, brush yourself off and get back in the game of life. The blessing is, it was only a month you wasted on him and now you can look for someone who adores you and loves you JUST THE WAY YOU ARE.0 -
