solve the country's obesity problem... by creating chocolate cake flavored lettuce/salad. and all vegetables made to taste like cookies or candy and all the delicious foods that we're not supposed to eat on a diet. and make the healthy foods more affordable!0

Well correct these days--you work hard and give it away to someone who chooses not to.... thats fair isn't it?????????
By the way I need to go shopping..... give me your credit card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -

Make drug testing essential for people on government assistance
*punches ^ in face..... ridiculous and discriminatory policy. Since when is addiction not a treatable disease? Wouldn't that money be better spent investing in treatment programs to help those people instead of punishing them, making their problems worse, and worst of all hurting the children of those families who already struggle?
I would imprison ^^ for wanting to solve a disagreement with punching someone. and all people receiving assistance would be on a "treatment plan" and when you stray from your plan then you don't get paid that week. Also, if you're a drug addict then you wouldn't be allowed a license to have children (yes, you'd need a license to reproduce!)0 -
I'd outlaw neon signs.0

Make sure everyone was educated....I cannot deal with stupidity! And stupid people breed stupid kids...so it would sort out a lot!
Ironically, you forgot to capitalize the "s."

Oh sure, that means I'm stupid and not that I'm using my iPod touch which has a tiny screen. You're a d!ck. No soup for you.0 -
I would restore the "American Dream" which has been lost in socialism.....
What do you mean, just because I work hard for something doesn't mean I should be able to keep it... right?
Hehehe.
lol.. You guys rock!0 -

Four weeks is standard practice in Australia Sadly we're still retardedly backward in our approach to maternity leave.0 -

Yep, I know. I researched when I was trying to get pregnant. I think it's insane to keep it so short when the bond with the family is so much more important. Why do we think so many families have so many problems these days? At least a small portion of it I think comes from this. Work sucks us away from our families and we let it.0 -

Why do I get the feeling that no one REALLY knows what "communism" means anymore?0 -
Dissolve the US two-party political system entirely.0

Ah. These same people who have this 'addiction' don't go in for treatment. There is a lot of treatment options out there. Punish them... yes, punish them so they SEEK treatment; not sit on their rear all day.
Derp de' derp.
Right.... because our justice system and prisons are doing wonders for recovery and rehabilitation!
It is a deterant for me. Prison/Justice System isn't just an end result. Thus I have no care for those that didn't weigh the risks properly, or didn't know better at that time. Just because your 'poor', or 'less fortunate' doesn't mean you get a free card to be a junkie/etc. *snickers*0 -

Who gets to dictate who can and can't have children? How would that ever be regulated, controlled? Who funds that?
Ridiculous.....0 -

Make going to college affordable for everyone. Unemployement is still high and if we get people trainied for careers, this country would see more economic growth and we wouldn't have to worry about how someone is going to pay their bills.0

It's all kinds of unbelievable. In Aus they're throwing money at new mums, trying REALLY BLOODY HARD to get young women to have more babies (and start younger), and yet they don't adjust the maternity leave accordingly.
Ultimately they're REALLY hoping the lady will just give up and stay at home barefoot and pregnant. Because that's progress, apparently.0 -

The problem here is that the policy discriminates against ANYONE receiving assistance! How can you stereotype like that and yet claim this provides equal rights? I'd be more concerned about your tax dollars being spent to ensure CEO's get millions in bonus, fund unjust wars, and provide substandard education.
here's the solution - Better sex education/family planning... Better access to birth control. Our population is growing at an alarming rate. Continuted, rampant overpopulation strains our economy, food sources, living conditions, and government.0
