    I'm from Oregon! I live in Salem during summer and weekends, and when I'm in school I live in N. Portland.

    I was born in Lebanon and raised in Albany and then went back to Lebanon to graduate high school. I came out East as a nanny and stayed, which I wasn't planning!! ;)

    My husband was born and raised in Bend. His family still has a 235 acre llama ranch between Redmond and Bend. I love it there too.

    To me one of the best parts is the smell of the junipers! My citified family calls it "The Bend Smell." My husband just laughs. Their ranch is called Halligan Ranch. That and the Deschutes River Trail which is nearby my husband's parents' retirement community are what I call my happy places!:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

    I am in Oakland. That is about an hour south of Springfield and nearest to Roseburg. Lots of antiques and hills here :bigsmile:
