Crystal Light? Opinions?

I love my crystal light. In summer it's not too terribly bad and I end up drinking enough plain water anyways. But i know once winter comes, I'm going to have to use crystal light to get my water down!0

Absolutely! I started drinking crystal light instead of soda & juice. I still do most days but I know drink more regular water now because I'm used to drinking water with crystal light. So i think it's a great way to introduce water when someone isn't used to drinking it0

I've stopped eating/drinking anything with Aspartame in it if I can help it after all the things I've read about it. And yes, Crystal Light is sweetened with it! I was bummed about that, because I really did like the flavors. Even reading other people's comments on here... some say that they can only drink 1 glass of Crystal Light or else they will get bloated and have intestinal pain. How is that not a red flag for what you are putting in your body?? That would be enough for me to find something else to drink. There are plenty of things out there (some better for you than others) that can flavor your water without aspartame.
However, I too was a pop addict, and totally understand that part... but I've successfully broken that bad habit without CL. Like with anything else, if you give it some time, your tastes will change -- like before, I couldn't stand having plain water to drink with a meal, and now I actually choose it often because it actually sounds good. But sometimes (probably not more than once a day) I feel like a drink with flavor, so I drink iced tea, Vitamin Water, or Sobe Life Water -- which don't kill my calories for the day.
I also suggest investing in a water filter for your house, if the taste of city water is your main problem... and many are not that expensive, depending on what you get. I have a Brita pitcher in my fridge that works great on the taste of tap water, and it's so handy to have a pitcher of cold water in there waiting for me to have a glass. I think the ones that attach right to your faucet are cool too. I drink a lot of bottled water as well when I'm out for convenience, but try my best to reuse the bottles a few times by filling them up with Brita water to reduce plastic waste. You can also get gallon jugs of filtered or spring water at the grocery store for like 89 cents. Just some ideas!
You CAN break the pop habit if you commit to it. I haven't had any in about 6 months, and now I have no desire for it at all, and even a sip of it tastes like fizzy acid to me... which is CRAZY because I used to loooove me some Mt. Dew! Good luck!0
