This literally had me laughing so hard, my boyfriend stopped playing video games for me to read it out loud to him. Wonderfully written and very inspiring. Great reminder to celebrate our victories, no matter how small we (or the rest of the world) think they are! Thank you!0

Ditto! Well written and a truly entertaining post. This should be required reading for all MFP newbies, because I'm sure we've all struggled with that same situation. I know I have. With that mindset, you'll conquer whatever goal you set. And congratulations on the 20 pounds!0 -
Thats a very inspiring speech, keep it going, i needed that!0

Great story- great writer!
Love how I can feel the pull to NOT do it.. We all know that feeling..
I get so inspired when people DO IT - and you fought HARD to make it happen in spite of the demons- Way to go.
Be proud, be strong! Well done!0 -
Bravo! Thank you for sharing our story. You are a great writer. To many battles won! Cheers!:drinker:0

That was an outstanding story! More than anything congrats on beating your -317. Although it is early in the morning here you have inspired me!
Congrats on winning the battle one decision at a time. :drinker:0 -
That was awesome! You are a talented writer - I felt like I was right there with you. Especially the part about the ice cream. You should post this on every forum post that starts with "I need someone to motivate me" or "I can't do this anymore". Every whining person should read that YOU have to make a change. One step at a time! Bravo!0

You need your own blog...excellent story!!0

Go you!!! Fabulous!0

I love reading your posts. I agree with a previous poster - you should definitely start a blog.0

Totally awesome! My favorite quote I read on here was "Sweat is fat crying." I love it and remember that when I am on my bike sweating a river. Keep up the great attitude!0

You are awesome You will reach your goal in no time with that attitude. It's ok to eat something like that every once in a while, as long as you burn it off! You are an inspiration to me, and I'm sure to a bunch of other people here. You should be a writer, by the way! Loved your post!0

Lol I have to admit, this story was hilarious in the beginning. You have excellent story-telling skills. Anyway, congratulations on not letting the negative number defeat you!0

Wow... what an outpouring of love and appreciation. Thank you all! It is funny that some folks have said that I should be a writer. I am actually a board certified civil appellate attorney, so I do write for a living. However, in the next life, when I don't have four sons to support through college, I would love to write fiction and romantic porn. For now, I guess I'll stick to real stories about food porn on here. ;-)
Huggs to all!!!0 -
Way to go! {Excellent writing btw} I totally get where you're coming from. Those harlot red numbers always put a damper on my day when they rear their ugly faces!0
-
