Is it ok to eat the exact same thing every day or should you change it around and eat different things ?

Most what I eat everyday is the same. But you have to make sure it is well balanced and gives you all your macro and MICRO nutrients your body needs since you won't have a chance to make up missing nutrients with another day if it is identical. I find it easier to keep my breakfast, lunch and snacks mostly stable.

Tough call. Realistically it's probably not ideal, since you need to rotate around a little so you get a greater variety of nutrients.

Of course, I can't speak because I have such a tiny roster of food I like eating. My breakfast and lunches on work days are always the same.

I rotate between 2 - 3 different breakfasts. I have one lunch that I truly love (giant salad with lots of veggies) and look forward to EVERYDAY! My suppers will always vary. As long as you're meeting your nutritional needs, I think it's okay to eat the foods you love.

I eat most of the same things everyday because it's easiest for me. I do vary it up on the weekends because I don't eat at home much. I think whatever works best for you is fine.
  • I'm sure our nutritional requirements aren't set for a 24hr time frame on the dot! The body's a complex organism.

I have favourites that I eat for days/weeks on end then go off them and find something else. I guess as long as your favourites aren't 80% junk it doesn't really matter.

I eat virtually the same thing every day. For my first meal (I eat two a day), I'll have tostadas made with corn tortillas, beans, cheese, chicken, avocado, sour cream, homemade salsa, and lettuce. The only time it changes is when I run out of something or can't afford chicken. I have more variety for the second meal but I still choose among maybe three or four options. In between, I have just coffee and fruit or vegetables, sometimes a protein shake if I work out. When I want something different, I'm more likely to change the seasoning than the main ingredients.

It works for me because I can use the same ingredients for multiple dishes, cutting down on grocery bills and prep time. I also know what I'm getting ahead of time and so don't have to worry too much about fitting into my calorie or macro goals.
